The ruling centre-right colaion
remains solid despite tensions between the centre-right post
Berlusconi Forza (FI) party and the rightwing League party, FI
leader, Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said
Friday.
FI on Thursday called Deputy Premier and Transport Minister
Matteo Salvini a "little smart-ass" after splits between FI and
the League on two votes, over a Rai state broadcaster license
fee cut and the healthcare system in Calabria.
"Absolutely nothing is happening, the centre-right coalition is
solid": said Tajani, a guest on 'Mattino Cinque News'.
"There is no political clash", he stressed.
"The coalition will continue to work to make reforms, to address
an economic situation that is not always simple: it will
continue until the end of the legislature", in 2027, said the
foreign minister.
He reiterated that "there is no controversy, no political
conflict on the amendment proposed by the League to reduce the
Rai license fee by 20 euros".
