In Serbia, former building
minister, transport and infrastructure Goran Vesic, who was
arrested as part of the investigation into the collapse at the
Nolvi Sad (North) station and had been on a hunger strike for a
few days, was hospitalised today due to a sudden worsening of
his health conditions. According to media reports, Vesic
complained of an illness in the Novi Sad prison, and doctors
ordered his transfer to a hospital in nearby Sremska Kamenica,
where he is being monitored.
