Saturday's train strikes across Italy
have been put off till a later date, the transport ministry said
after talks with unions Tuesday.
The ministry said those travelling for Pope Leo XIV's inaugural
Mass at St Peter's on Sunday, the Italian Open tennis
championships in Rome, and the Formula One Grand Prix at Imola
would therefore be able to do so on schedule.
