PSG fans flooded social media with
calls for Italy keeper Gigio Donnarumma to be dropped after he
was sent off for a last-man foul on Le Havre striker Josué
Casimir in the 10th minute of the match on the Normandy coast
Sunday, following recent howlers for the Ligue 1 leaders against
Monaco and Newcaste, which almost cost PSG the game in the
Champions League last week.
Ex Barcelona youth system product Arnau Tenas came on for the
Azzurri star after coach Luis Enrique was forced to bring off
compatriot midfielder Bradley Barcola, and the 22-year-old Tenas
pulled off seven heroic saves to help PSG earn a 2-0 away win
thanks to goals from superstar Kylian Mbappé and Vitinha.
The social media was abuzz with calls for Tenas to permanently
replace the embattled Italy skipper.
The latest missteps were just the latest in a string of blunders
Donnarumma has made lately.
