Lewis Hamilton said after taking
Ferrari's new race car through its first paces at Maranello that
the SF-25 was good but it was still too early to say whether it
could win him his record eight Formula One title.
"The car is good. It's still early and I can't say too much but
today we had no problems. It's my first Ferrari and it's hard to
believe. I'm living every moment intensely", said the Briton,
40, who won as many championships as Ferrari legend Michael
Schumacher with Mercedes before having a recent lean four-year
stretch amid Max Verstappen's dominance with Red Bull.
"The difference with Mercedes? It's very different from when
you put on the suit and helmet", explained the British driver.
The seven-time world champion is now working alongside
27-year-old Monégasque Charles Leclerc, now a Ferrari veteran.
"I really like working with Charles. Even before we talked a
lot on and off the track: music, fashion. But here the working
environment is fantastic", the Stevenage born ace concluded.
