In 2023 Italy hit 66.6% of recycled
waste placing it among the top EU nations on that score, an
ANCI-CONAI report said Thursday.
This was 5% up on 2019 and 1.5% up on 2022, said the report.
Some 11 of Italy's 20 regions were above 65%, with Veneto,
Emilia-Romagna and Sardinia leading the way.
