Antonio Tajani said a meeting in Brussels on Monday with his
European counterparts is not set to give the green light to EU
High Representative Kaja Kallas' proposal to send Ukraine
40-billion-euros of military support in 2025.
Tajani said the plan "needs to be examined in depth so a
decision will not be reached today".
He said Italy "is not alone" in calling for more reflection on
the proposal.
"We also have to see what comes out of the phone call between
Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin," he added.
