Pope Francis's convalescence from a
bout of pneumonia will last at least two months, doctors at
Rome's Gemelli Hospital said Saturday.
"The Pope will be discharged tomorrow, in stable conditions for
two weeks now. The period of rest at Casa Santa Marta will
continue and the Pontiff will be convalescing for at least two
months", explained Prof. Sergio Alfieri, head of the medical
team treating the 88-year-old Argentine pontiff at the
Policlinico Agostino Gemelli.
