Italy's primacy on the huge EU-funded
post-COVID National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) has
confirmed by the latest report, Premier Giorgia Meloni said
Thursday.
"The sixth Report to Parliament on the state of implementation
of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan confirms Italy's
European primacy in its implementation, in terms of the number
of objectives achieved, overall resources received and number of
payment requests formalized and collected", Meloni, wrote in the
preface of the Report.
"The Government, the titular Administrations, the Prefectures
and all the implementing bodies will continue to work, with
perseverance and determination, to complete all the investments
and reforms. We will do so with the same rigor, the same passion
and the same spirit of self-denial that have allowed us to
become a model in Europe in the implementation of the NRRP. We
still have a lot of work to do, but the results achieved so far
make us proud and encourage us to do better and better. In the
interest of Italy and the Italians", she added.
