Cardinals are expected to set a date
for the conclave to elect a successor to Pope Francis at a
meeting on Monday after Saturday's funeral of the 88-year-old
Argentine pontiff.
Many members of the college of College of Cardinals joined
thousands of mourners in paying homage to Francis at his tomb at
the Basilica of Saint Mary Major on Sunday, the first day it was
open to visits after his remains were laid to rest there
following the funeral.
