Abdelkader Ben Alaya, a 48-year-old
man who stabbed his wife Roua Nabi to death in front of their
children in an apartment in Turin on September 23, 2024, has
been sentenced to life in prison.
A month before the murder, the man had been fitted with an
electronic bracelet restraining order, but the device failed to
go off because its batteries were flat.
