The Italian Ambassador, Paolo Palminteri, had a cordial meeting yesterday with the Minister of Finance of the Republic of North Macedonia, Gordana Dimitrieska-Kochoska, during which the country's objectives in the economic and financial sector were reviewed. In this regard, the importance of bilateral cooperation and foreign investments was reiterated, and the wish for an intensification of bilateral trade and Italian investments in North Macedonia was shared.
Ambassador Palminteri also recalled the possibilities of strengthening bilateral cooperation through EU instruments, such as administrative twinning. The meeting," the embassy reported in a note, "was also attended by Lucia Bonelli, from Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, to present some of the instruments made available by CDP aimed at strengthening Italian action to support sustainable development initiatives of companies in emerging economies.
