Italy participated in Turkmenistan in the traditional conference dedicated to the 'Day of the Diplomatic Staff' organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan at the Institute for International Relations, on the occasion of the holiday celebrated in the country in honour of all those who, by the nature of their activities, are responsible for Turkmenistan's foreign policy and for maintaining a positive image of the country on the world stage.
The Italian Embassy in Ashgabat was also present with its own stand at the exhibition of Diplomatic Representations accredited in Turkmenistan where it was able to promote activities in the commercial, cultural, scientific and academic fields. The event was attended by the Italian Ambassador in Ashgabat, Luigi Ferrari.
