(ANSAmed) - IL CAIRO, 19 FEB - The EU Ambassador to Libya, Nicola Orlando, reportedly agreed with Libyan interim Foreign Minister Eltaher Elbahour 'to maintain a high level of coordination' on migration issues.
In a message on X, the EU diplomat said he had had 'a productive meeting in Tripoli this morning' with Al-Bahour, where he 'briefed him on the outcome of the meeting in Brussels of the Technical Mission on Migration and Border Management last week' held 'with representatives from Tripoli and Benghazi'.
With Elbahour (a name that can also be transliterated into Al-Bahur), Orlando also 'discussed current regional developments and their impact on Europe and Libya, as well as upcoming meetings with EU institutions to strengthen our partnership'.
