The Italian Ambassador, Paolo Palminteri, was received today by the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the Republic of North Macedonia, Cvetan Tripunovski. During the meeting, the numerous cooperation activities in the agricultural, agri-food, and phytosanitary fields, carried out with the support of Italian experts in the sector, were highlighted, thanks also to the twinning projects financed by the European Union, with the aim of assisting the Macedonian administration in achieving European standards.
Expressing his appreciation for the qualified Italian support provided in this sector, Minister Tripunovski called for the reactivation of the "AAA" conference programme promoted by the Embassy to share Italian experience and excellence in the fields of Agriculture, Food and the Environment, through seminars and meetings with Italian officials and experts in the sector. Ambassador Palminteri confirmed his willingness to further strengthen cooperation through concrete projects that aim to make the agricultural system even more sustainable.
