'Strengthening inter-university cooperation, joint research and innovation programmes'. These were the topics at the centre of the fruitful meeting between the Italian Ambassador to Tunisia, Alessandro Prunas, and the Tunisian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mondher Belaid. This was announced by the same diplomatic representation on X, emphasising that the topics discussed were "all key areas of the Italian-Tunisian partnership in the framework of the Mattei Plan".
A note on the Tunisian ministry's meeting on Facebook also 'praised the excellent level of partnership between Tunisia and Italy in the field of higher education and scientific research and the close coordination within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation concluded in 2024, which has contributed to the diversification of joint university and research activities, both bilaterally and at the Euro-Mediterranean level'.
