The fifth edition of the 'Italian Book Week', organised by the Dante Alighieri Institute in Innsbruck, will be held in the Austrian city from 31 March to 4 April. The event is in cooperation with publishing houses, participating writers and institutions such as the Euregio, the Italian Embassy in Vienna, the Italian Cultural Institute, the City Council and the Honorary Consulate of Italy in Innsbruck.
The event consists of five days, each dedicated to a different literary genre, during which interviews with Italian authors (Andrea Vitello, Franco Cardini, Salvatore Matteo Giacomuzzi, Sara Marzullo, Paolo Cagnan and Walter Tramacere) will take place. Also on the programme will be a performance in Italian and German of Canto V of the Divine Comedy in collaboration with the Teatriamo theatre company; an event with the participation of Nicoletta de Lellis of @impaginar.te; a historical quiz with a prize; and a bilingual children's reading with interactive activities.
The 'Week' will end with a day dedicated to the mystery genre and the bilingual interactive event 'Spritz con delitto', at the Istituto Dante Alighieri.
