Italian Premier Giorgia Meloni is
scheduled to address the Conservative Political Action
Conference (CPAC) in Washington DC on Saturday afternoon,
according to the agenda on the website of the "most influential
gathering of conservatives in the world".
Sources said Meloni will not physically be in attendance, so the
address looks set to be made via video link.
Argentine President Javier Milei is also scheduled to speak on
Saturday.
The agenda features a 15-minute slot for Meloni, which follows
that of Tom Homan, United States President Donald Trump's
'border czar'. and precedes the concluding speech by Elise
Stefanik, who Trump has nominated US ambassador to the UN.
