Pope Francis had another "restful
night" at Rome's Gemelli hospital, the Holy See Press Office
said in a statement on Wednesday.
On Tuesday the Vatican said the Pope's clinical situation
"remains stable, while doctors confirm slight improvements,
within a picture that for them remains complex".
Doctors lifted their reservations about the 88-year-old
Argentine pontiff's prognosis Monday, saying his life was no
longer in danger but he still required hospital treatment for
double pneumonia.
Earlier Tuesday Francis, who was admitted to hospital on
February 14, was reported to be in a good mood and chatting to
those around him.
