Premier Giorgia Meloni told British
Prime Minister Keir Starmer in London Sunday that new tools were
needed on security and migration, among other things.
"I know that we both think outside the box and I am sure that we
can do even better in areas such as security, defense, energy
and the fight against irregular immigration and human
traffickers," she said in a bilateral at Downing Street.
"We need new tools and new ideas to guarantee the security of
our citizens".
Speaking ahead of the London summit on Ukraine and European
defense, Meloni said she was "happy" with the "partnership"
between Italy and the United Kingdom on key issues.
