"Germany is a very strong
democracy, and as such, we are absolutely clear that the far
right must remain outside of political control and
decision-making processes, and there will be no cooperation with
them," German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said on the second day of
the Munich Security Conference. "We oppose any form of
cooperation between parties and the far right. It is necessary
to say that it is not up to others to advise us to cooperate
with these parties that do not work for the right reasons,
especially if we look at our history, "Scholz noted.
