"We are in favour of allowing all
countries" in the Western Balkans "to join" the EU before 2030,"
said Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani on the sidelines of
the ministerial meeting with the Western Balkan countries at
Villa Madama. "Perhaps Bosnia and Herzegovina needs more time,
but the others, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, and North
Macedonia, have made progress, and I believe 2029 is the right
time. We also want it for Bosnia but perhaps it will take more
time, but we give our support," he noted.
