"Serbia's European agenda provides
solutions to many of the issues at the forefront of the debate
today. It is critical that conditions be created for an
inclusive dialogue involving all stakeholders, political actors,
institutions, and civil society members to address the reforms
required for Serbia's European future. This is a responsibility
shared by all parties involved," said the European Commissioner
for Enlargement, Marta Kos. Kos responded to various letters
from Serbian academics, politicians, and civil society
organisations expressing concern about the country's current
situation.
