The Chamber of Commerce of
Venezia Giulia, through its in-house company Aries, has
organized a collective exhibition to promote the local
integrated logistics system at Pavilion 4.2 of the Fruit
Logistica fair in Berlin, which runs until tomorrow.
According to the Chamber of Commerce of Venezia Giulia, this
event is one of the most significant in the sector. It allows
various industry players and operators to discuss the latest
innovations and trends while establishing or strengthening
market opportunities.
Participants include the Port System Authority of the Eastern
Adriatic Se, which covers the Ports of Trieste and
Monfalcone—Trieste Interport, Sdag Gorizia, terminal operators
HHLA—Plt Italy and Samer Seaports & Terminals, and logistics
providers Trimar and Samer & Co. Shipping.
The Chamber of Commerce has organized this showcase to
present the integrated logistics system, featuring
maritime services, refrigerated warehouses, fresh and frozen
logistics, and European land connections. This year's event also
provided a platform to promote the Trieste-Damietta route, which
was launched in late November after its presentation at last
year's fair in Berlin.
The 2024 edition of Fruit Logistica achieved impressive
attendance figures, with approximately 90,000 professionals,
including visitors and exhibitor staff, from 145 countries. This
year, about 2,770 exhibitors, 478 of whom are from Italy, are
featured.
