In the trial of Bosnian Serb
leader Milorad Dodik, the prosecution has requested a sentence
of up to 5 years in prison for disobeying the decisions of BiH's
High Representative, Christian Schmidt. A similar sentence has
been requested for Milos Lukic, director of the Official Gazette
of the Republika Srpska (RS), Bosnia and Herzegovina's majority
Serb entity, a newspaper that refuses to publish the High
Representative's decisions.
Both defendants have also been asked to be barred from holding
public or political office for ten years.
