"The Court relies on States to
carry out its decisions. It is not only a legal obligation to
the Court as provided for by the Rome Statute, but also a
responsibility to other States Parties," said an International
Criminal Court spokesperson about Israeli Prime Minister
Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to Hungary. PM Viktor Orban is
expecting Netanyahu on Wednesday despite an international arrest
warrant against him. "It is not up to individual states to
unilaterally assess the legitimacy or validity of the ICC's
decisions," the spokesperson added.
