Italian President Sergio
Mattarella arrived in Coimbra on Tuesday to start a two-day
visit to Portugal.
On Tuesday afternoon, Mattarella will be awarded an honorary
degree by Coimbra University, Portugal's oldest.
On Wednesday he will take part in the COTEC Europe summit along
with Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa and King
Felipe VI of Spain.
