Three people died and three others
were injured in a road accident on State Road 100, near Mottola,
in the province of Taranto on Sunday, local sources said.
According to what has emerged so far, two cars were involved: a
large-capacity BMW and a Peugot, which collided head-on due to
causes that are still being ascertained. For the three victims,
who were travelling in the same car, the impact was fatal.
The injured were rescued by 118 personnel and transported to
hospital.
In November, three soldiers of the Pinerolo 7/o Bersaglieri
Brigade stationed not far way in Altamura (Bari) and a
60-year-old man from the province of Bari died in a similar
accident.
