Placebo frontman Brian Molko was
indicted Monday for calling rightwing Premier Giorgia Meloni a
Fascist and a Nazi at a concert in Turin in July 2023.
The justice ministry gave Turin magistrates the green light to
indict Molko, a 52-year-old American-Scottish musician, on
charges of insulting Italian institutions on July 11 at
Stupinigi.
The alternative rock band's singer is liable to pay a fine.
