The 5-Star Movement (M5S) gave a
coherent, granite-like and compact No to European Commission
President Ursula von der Leyen 800 billion euro RearmEU plan in
the European Parliament in Strasburg Wednesday, M5S leader and
ex premier Giuseppe Conte said after the plan passed.
"During the last electoral campaign for the European elections I
had guaranteed that our candidates, once elected, would be
'peace builders'," said the two-time ex premier.
"Well, a few minutes ago in the European Parliament a resolution
was voted in favour of the crazy 800 billion euro Rearmament
Plan wanted by von der Leyen and Giorgia Meloni.
"The 5 Star Movement voted no, in full coherence, in a
granite-like and compact way".
