The future of the auto industry is
not in the war industry, Stellantis President John Elkann told
parliament Wednesday.
"China and the US have a major war industry and a major car
industry. It is not a choice between one and the other, the two
countries show us that you can have both strong industries".
"We do not believe that the future of the car industry is the
war industry, but what the EU decides in terms of industrial
policy and where to put resources and energy" Elkann underlined.
