Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said
Thursday he had given European Trade Commissioner Maros Sefcovic
a list of Italian products to protect against new US tariffs.
I gave Commissioner Sefcovic a long list of Italian products
that need to be addressed so that they can be protected", Tajani
said on the sidelines of a NATO ministerial meeting.
The list reportedly includes about thirty products, including
the wine sector - which is why the exclusion of whisky from the
EU countermeasures is being requested - motorcycles and
jewellery.
