Deputy Premier. Transport Minister
and rightwing League party leader Matteo Salvini's praise for
Hungary's leaving the International Criminal Court is hiw own
view and Italy must not follow suit, Deputy Premier, Foreign
Minister and centre-right Forza Italia (FI) leader Antonio
Tajani said Tuesday.
"Salvini's (view) is his opinion. Mine is different but it's not
like I have to comment on everything. I don't think we should
leave the ICC, Italy must remain in the ICC", said the post
Berlusconi leader.
Salvini said on X earlier, commenting on the Hungarian
parliament's vote to leave the ICC:"A choice of justice and
freedom, of sovereignty and courage."
