"I am full of admiration for the exceptional people who dedicate their daily lives to children, youth and vulnerable people," said the Italian Ambassador to Ghana, Laura Ranalli, after visiting the Don Bosco Salesians in Ashaiman-Tema, at the invitation of Father Krzysztof Ni źniak, Provincial Economer, and Father Roberto Castiglione, Provincial Secretary of the community.
The ambassador also visited the Beata Laura Catholic School, the Don Bosco Child Protection Centre and the Kids Heaven School, the Don Bosco Technical Institute, where she met teachers, pupils and students who gave the Italian delegation a warm welcome.
Before returning to Accra, the ambassador visited Mother Teresa's Sisters of Charity and guests at the orphanage and vocational school that the sisters run in Ashaiman.
"It was a moving and enriching experience," said Ambassador Ranalli.
