In Serbia, five months after the
Novi Sad station's collapse on November 1, killing 16, a wave of
anti-government protests continues, led by the students.
Rallies, marches, and roadblocks are also taking place today in
Belgrade, Novi Sad, Nis, Kragujevac, and other parts of the
country, resulting in severe traffic disruptions, massive
traffic jams, and the rage of many citizens trapped in traffic
with severe travel delays. In Belgrade, in particular, groups of
high school students blocked a major road artery during rush
hour at 3 p.m., announcing that their action would last until 7
p.m.
