Austrian Chancellor ad interim
Alexander Schallenberg will attend the summit of the "Friends of
the Western Balkans" in Rome next Monday, an initiative he
founded in 2023. The six Balkan countries' foreign ministers
will meet with other European Union representatives to discuss
cooperation, integration, and regional security. The summit will
be attended by the foreign ministers of Albania, Bosnia and
Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia,
along with EU representatives, including Marta Kos and Kaja
Kallas. Chaired by Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, the meeting
will focus on regional cooperation, European integration and
security.
