The construction site for the future
restaurant Botta is pictured at the Glacier 3000 resort, in the
Swiss Alps at an altitude of 3,000 metres (9,800 ft), in Les
Diablerets, Ormont-Dessus, Switzerland, 27 June 2023. After the
fire that destroyed the Glacier 3000 restaurant last September,
it's now time to rebuild. A new building will be erected this
summer, also by renowned Swiss architect Mario Botta. The
building, which will also feature an alpine micro-solar power
station, has been redesigned to improve the quality of the
customer experience and fire safety.
