Iran, 26 July 2023. The special traditional ceremony which take
place in Nushabad traces back to more than 100 years. The Ashura
day commemorates the death anniversary of the third Shiite Imam
Hussein, the grandson of Islam's Prophet Muhammad. Ashura is the
peak of ten days of mourning when Shiite Muslims mourn the
killing of Imam Hussein whose shrine is in Karbala in southern
