Italy is central to Stellantis,
President John Elkann told parliament Wednesday.
"We prepared for today's hearing with great attention; because
for us Italy plays a central role. We are, and I personally am,
very proud of this long history of ours, the history of Fiat
which has now become Stellantis".
"I am speaking as head of the operational management of
Stellantis, a position I received from the board of directors on
2 December 2024 following the resignation of Carlos Tavares. His
succession is proceeding according to the established schedule:
the new CEO of Stellantis will be announced by the first half of
the year".
