The spread between Italy's 10-year
BTP bond and the German Bund dipped below the 100-basis-points
mark in early trading on Wednesday, falling to 99.9 points, the
lowest level since September 2021.
The yield on the BTP dropped to 3.68% from 3.69% at the end of
business on Tuesday.
The spread closed on 101.9 points on Tuesday.
