Enel, Ansaldo Energia and Leonardo
on Wednesday said they have formalized the establishment of
Nuclitalia, a company that will deal with the study of advanced
technologies and the analysis of market opportunities in the new
nuclear sector.
They announced the move in a joint press release. The shares of
the capital of Nuclitalia, a limited liability company, are held
51% by Enel, 39% by Ansaldo Energia and 10% by Leonardo.
The board of directors will be composed of seven members and
will be chaired by Ferruccio Resta, former rector of the
Polytechnic University of Milan. The CEO will be Luca
Mastrantonio, head of Enel's Nuclear Innovation unit.
